What is TEDx?
TEDx is an initiative that brings events driven by TED’s mission, vision, and values to all parts of the world. The purpose of hosting a TEDx conference is to give the opportunity to local talent and passionate individuals to share ideas “worth spreading” in their local communities. These TEDx events are independently organized by under a free license by TED. These events are run by volunteers and help create a space where students, researchers, entrepreneurs and anyone can make a difference in their community.
TEDxUNB is a conference organized by students for the UNB community. After four years of the last TEDxUNB conference, we are bringing back the brightest minds to UNB to talk about those ideas they are forever drawn to. By bringing TEDxUNB, we strive to make our community more engaged, to create excitement about learning new things, and to explore the potential they have in them. Through our speakers, we hope to bring that sense of revival and rebirth that our students yearn for. We want to light that spark of innovation and change in the future leaders of Canada.
