TEDx is an initiative that brings events driven by TED’s mission, vision, and values to all parts of the world. The purpose of hosting a TEDx conference is to give the opportunity to local talent and passionate individuals to share ideas “worth spreading” in their local communities. These TEDx events are independently organized by under a free license by TED. These events are run by volunteers and help create a space where students, researchers, entrepreneurs and anyone can make a difference in their community.
What is TEDx?
TEDxUNB is a conference organized by students, for the community. After four years since the last TEDxUNB, we are bringing the event back with a renewed sense of purpose, curiosity, and possibility. This year’s theme, REBORN, reflects more than a return. It represents renewal, growth, and the courage to rethink what’s next. Through powerful ideas and diverse perspectives, our speakers explore transformation at every level: personal, academic, and societal.
TEDxUNB exists to spark meaningful conversations, reignite a passion for learning, and remind our community of the potential they carry. By creating space for ideas worth sharing, we aim to inspire the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders shaping the future.
