J Herbert Smith Centre (JHSC)
For more than 35 years, UNB’s J Herbert Smith Centre (JHSC) has supported students in commercializing research and discovering the market potential of their ideas.
The Centre’s Technology Management and Entrepreneurship (TME) programs have supported and helped to launch more than 270 startup companies since 2006, including HotSpot, SmartSkin Technologies, Stash Energy, C-Therm Technologies Ltd, and many others.
The JHSC offers many programs, such as a 5-course Diploma in TME, a 1-year Engineering Master’s Degree (MTME), an Engineering Senior Design/Capstone (TME*4025), startup accelerator programs, research streams, and other opportunities.

Colbr Consulting Inc. is a New Brunswick–based consulting firm specializing in project and construction management, mechanical testing, and archaeological services.
